What is anesthesia?

Types of Anesthesia and Common Procedures
- General Anesthesia: Used for major surgeries where patients are fully unconscious (e.g., head, back, heart, lung, or abdominal surgery)
- Regional Anesthesia: Numbs a large area using spinal, epidural, or nerve blocks (e.g., hip, knee, hand, or foot surgery)
